I bought this from another source but the cover is the same as are, I'm sure are the contents. What this book is is a team and a duo that could be folded into the team without much trouble of truly horror tropes in different forms. You have a floating skull that was an ancient demonologist way back when, a half-demon trying to erase his human side for power, a werewolf, a vampire and a wicked child. And that's just in the main group. You also get a nasty ghost and her lover. This is not for the faint of heart by any stretch of the imagination as these villains are as evil and terrifying as the sum of their parts suggests. If you want to inject some horror into your Mutants and Masterminds game, get this book. If you want some villains that could be straight out of the Iron Age, get this book. I have tried not to give too much away but this is one heck of a book of villains for Mutants and Masterminds. I bought it and have never regretted it.
Not for a GM or a gaming group faint of heart, these are some villains with a rich history and spooky background that really pack a punch. Not generic villains by a long shot, these baddies will give you great spooky sessions to put an arcane edge in your campaign. Also supplied are standees, so you can copy them or print them up if you get the PDF. I myself appreciate standees so that's always a great touch.
