Iniquitous Solace The Aftermath Penelope Jones Books
ReviewAlfred Lord Tennyson wrote in his poem `In Memoriam:27′, 1850:
I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
`Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
Well Penelope Jones in Iniquitous Solace: The Aftermath delves into love and the loss of it, better yet the fracture of it. Part of this compilation of poems was published in an earlier edition Iniquitous Solace with another poet named Max. Now Ms. Jones has revamped her book; Max is gone and she comes out swinging and bearing her soul to the world.
I kept hearing the Chumbawamba song Tubthumper chorus `I get knocked, down but I get up again. You're never gonna keep me down." Nothing keeps Ms. Jones down either. Her pain is apparent in her prose, and I am glad I'm not on the receiving end of her ire. We have all been where Ms. Jones has been, and we are all stronger for it. Heartache in real life, I might add, is a b**ch Lord Tennyson.
It should be noted the author gifted me this book, but I had already bought it; so a book of poetry is up for grabs courtesy of Miss. Penelope Jones.

Iniquitous Solace The Aftermath Penelope Jones Books Reviews
I love this book!! All the added poems & quotes tell the story and I fell in & out of love right along with Ms Jones. Beautifully written!
This Author writes with an open and honest style! This collection of her work takes you into an intimate story of a relationship and the roller-coaster of emotions experienced on this journey.....a very heartfelt tale!
A roller coaster ride in prose of a unique relationship. All the highs and the deepest lows of what having and losing love can be. Anyone who knows how deeply a connection like this can be will certainly feel how this book can resonate with them.
Well written and deeply touching.
this is a testament to faith, healing, and being hopeful of the enduring love that is waiting for us. such strength and honesty in knowing that sometimes we have to break in order to know who we are and what we need. a realistic, haunting tale through prose that will have you laughing, crying, and cheering. x
I had the honor of reading an advanced copy of this poetry book. It is every bit as wonderful as the original (sadly, now unpublished) Iniquitous Solace only this time it has an oomph to it that speaks of a soul emerging from a cacoon and ready to soar. It is full of beauty, anger, angst, sorrow, fire, passion and most of all, hope and determination. I highly recommend this book! In fact, I just purchased it even though, as I said, I received an ARC copy. It's worth it! (Note It does contain adult sexual content, and references to BDSM.)
I heard the author read at conference and had to get the book, ***Warning*** may cause insomnia, I thought I would read a few pages before going to bed, an hour later...
Iniquitous Solace The Aftermath
Ms Jones book Iniquitous Solace The Aftermath is so different to any other book you have ever read. The story is about finding and losing true love. Whats so special about that huh? Miss Jones book is about a dominant-submissive relationship. What is so special about that, huh? Miss Jones write poetry. She does not only write poetry that is so easy to read it will allow you can concentrate on the story, she writes really wonderful poetry. She is a true artist with words at times and that is what makes this book so special. I recommend it to heal all hearts that are broken. Or to all true romantics out there.
