Another exciting, suspense filled book by Andrea Kane. The title fits the story to a tee. A very unexpected ending.
Everything by Andrea Kane is fabulous! I love her Forensic Instincts saga. All the characters are great, each story is intriguing and she now added a new character. I suggest if anyone interested to start with the very first one and work your way to the present, you wont be disappointed
This is the fourth Forensic Instincts book and each one is a great read. The Forensic Instincts team is a group of ex- military, tech gurus, and a few others with special talents that take on complicated cases to solve. A new potential team member, Emma Stirling, is introduced as a probationary receptionist who proves her ingenuity and worth. I like the strong characters portrayed, especially the female ones!
Andrea Kane always writes interesting stories with surprising endings. The suspence is always exciting and the love portions are always sexy. There are lots of twists and the endings are not always what you think they will be. I have been reading Andrea Kane for years and I am never disappointed in her books. I highly recommender her books.
First, I loved all the Forensic Instincts novels, until this one. This one just doesn't even come close to it's predecessors. It was rather boring and predictable and those are two things I can't abide by in a suspense novel. I would rather wait two years for the next book in a series than to be left disappointed. Andrea Kane is a wonderful writer and I pray she is back on track with her next FI novel.
