3.5-4 stars. I loved the sound of this from the blurb, because it promised to be super hot (hello, doctor!), forbidden (age gap) and taboo (her ex-boyfriend's father). So yes, The Doctor delivered on all of those accounts. Cassidy has known Dr. Lowe for years because she's been dating his son Preston for a long time. Now that she's no longer Preston's girlfriend, she's seeing Greg (Dr. Lowe) with new and hungry eyes. There's so much heat and lust between them, it's a wonder they were able to keep it under wraps at all because of all the sizzle. As much as I enjoyed the combustible chemistry, because there was an abundance of it, there wasn't as much regarding the emotional development between them even though I could see it building in their actions and gestures. Otherwise, the conversations revolved a lot around their fantasies so I wouldn't have minded more about them as people and what made them click as a genuine couple.

Fast-paced, steamy read! At first, for me, it was a page-turner, but it didn’t stay that way. I couldn’t get invested in the characters. I enjoy reading in dual POV and this entire book was in Cassidy’s. Maybe getting Greg’s point of view would have helped me stay engaged. There was loads of chemistry and lots of fantasies playing out, but it was missing something…the emotional connection for me. I have read this author before and even though this one wasn’t for me, I will definitely check out more!
This was my first book by this author. I love taboo. Anything forbidden. Unfortunately, I didn't love this one. I didn't hate it. I just didn't LOVE it. The sexy scenes were steamy af. But I was let down by the lack angst. Cassidy & Preston were broke up 8 or 9% into the story and in that same day she was making out with The Doctor. Idk. It felt a little rush and like something was missing.

This is just my opinion. I've heard a lot of good things about this authors books. I'm open to giving one of her another novels a go.
This is my first Nikki Sloane book and I absolutely loved it. I am a sucker for a good older/younger story and then you add the ex-boyfriend father as the new love interests. Oh yea, you have my interest peaked.

I did have a little issue in the middle when Greg has a choice to make. Cassidy acts more like an adult then Greg does. But in the end, he grows up and makes the right decision.

This is a good age gap story that I could not put down. Cassidy and Greg are a great couple when they finally slow down and become a team. Preston has a lot of growing up to do. But most men at that age do unless they are forced to. I enjoyed this book and will be reading more of Nikki's books in the future.
This book was super hot!! Greg and Cassidy definitely connected when it came to their fantasies. Age gap and forbidden romances are some of my favorite reads and this book didn't disappoint in that area.
I would have liked a little more of them connecting on other levels and their relationship other than in the bedroom. But holy cow did they have the hot steamy scenes together.
I look forward to more in this series just to see what goes on with some of the other characters as well as Cassidy and Dr. Lowe!
Yes this is full of that Nikki hawt we know and love and then some. Full of fantasies that will leave you clenching your thighs for hours after you’ve finished reading. Even though some may say this has a taboo subject I personally loved ALL of the words, and could not help but NEED to turn those pages and take in each and every delicious syllable.

You want ALPHA well The Doctor has that is spades. You want a woman who is strong and knows what she wants well another check in that column. You want red hot passion well then mark that with about five checks. Seriously this story has it ALL. Maybe just read it with your Bob available 😉.
I purchased this book when it released and had been so excited to read it. Unfortunately, there was just something missing. I would say this is like a 3.75 for stars.

I loved the characters and the taboo-ish element of the story. And I felt there was a connection brewing between the characters, but I never felt like that emotional connection exploded. The physical connection did. If you need a book with lots of sex and aren't worried about the rest, this is great.

Don't get me wrong, there is a story. And I loved the characters and the steam. It just felt like something was missing.

This story is deliciously dirty and sinfully sexy. I mean I can't even describe the tingly joy I got while reading this book ;)
I will also tell you I have NEVER been so turned on by butt stuff ;) like ummmm yeah Dr. Lowe can #BackDoor me anytime ;)
Wow I am getting off track...so anyway this story was dirty and sexy, steamy, and a tab bit taboo, but it was AMAZING and all the things I did not know I even wanted to read. I will say that there is one scene that is prob one of my fav's of ALL times...it has to do with a birthday, a chair, and a gift box. I am not ashamed to say that I read that scene twice! Twice people!!
So in case you did not figure it out I LOVED this story and I want y'all to read it!
Cassidy is one lucky Biaaaaaaaaaa.
